Program Concentrations

While you have the option to customize your degree from a list of approved electives, the program also offers two optional concentrations that speak to the urgent demands of the industry.

  • Strategic Communication/Public Relations
    You’ll learn to understand and overcome key issues in managing organizational relationships with stakeholders and global challenges associated with strategic communication initiatives. You’ll develop communication strategies tailored to the unique needs of specific publics and facilitate effective responses to organizational crises.
  • Integrated Communication and Advertising
    Understand the need, and how to, engage all organizational stakeholders to develop effective messaging strategies that reflect the integration of advertising, marketing and public relations, then create plans and branding initiatives with persuasion theory and best practices.
